Kane, Kevin raised his family here because he believes in Freehold and its future. In 2015, Kevin was selected by the Monmouth County Democrats as the candidate to run for the office of Monmouth County Clerk in the Novemgeneral election.įollowing in the footsteps of his father, former Borough Mayor and Councilman Roger J.
Kevin also was the Police Commissioner and a member of the Land Use Committee. Kevin was elected to Council in 2001 and was reelected to his sixth consecutive term in November 2016. He is currently serving as Council President (2007, 2013, 2019), Chairman of the Finance (since 2008) and Public Safety (since 2017) Committees and is the council liaison to the Freehold Board of Health and Lake Topanemus Commission. A fifth generation Freehold native and a lifelong Borough resident, Kevin Kane has proven his commitment to his hometown through his many activities.
